🚀 WE ARE HIRING | BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER A leading Engineering Consultancy in Cairo is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Engineer to join our team. We provide comprehensive engineering services including Structural Design, Post-Tensioning, BIM, Shop Drawings, and Consultancy Services to clients across Egypt and the GCC. 🔹 Responsibilities Business Expansion: Identify and capture new business opportunities, with a primary focus on Saudi Arabia and the UAE. Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and Design & Build firms. Lead Generation & Market Intelligence: Track upcoming construction projects and generate qualified leads via direct calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and industry networking. Proposals & Tenders: Prepare, submit, and systematically follow up on quotations, commercial proposals, and tender submissions. Deal Closure: Drive negotiations and follow up with prospective clients through to successful project awards. Client Retention: Deepen relationships with existing clients to secure repeat business. Pipeline Management: Maintain an accurate database of leads, ongoing prospects, and active project opportunities. Technical Alignment: Collaborate closely with the internal technical team to interpret client specifications and formulate tailored technical/commercial offers. Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed established business development and sales targets. 🔹 Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline. Experience: 2–5 years of success in business development, technical sales, or commercial roles within engineering consultancy. Industry Knowledge: Strong baseline understanding of the construction, structural engineering, and consultancy ecosystem. Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities. Language: Fluent / Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Mindset: Proactive, goal-oriented hunter with a knack for opening new doors. Mobility: Willingness to travel regionally as business needs arise. ⭐ Highly Preferred Existing networks and active contacts with contractors, consultants, developers, or construction firms in KSA or the UAE.
